Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is live · now required for qualifying income over £50,000

One price. The whole tax year.

Keep MTD-compliant records for nothing, for as long as you like, and pay at the point you file. Quarterly updates and the final declaration are one price, not two — and there is no surcharge for property income, extra businesses or connecting a bank.

Your records leave with you

HMRC needs you to keep five years of records — that duty is yours, so we make sure you can always meet it. Export everything at any time: transactions as CSV, every filed return and HMRC receipt as PDF. Stop paying and drop to the free tier and nothing is deleted at all.

Export any time, no lock-in

Your accountant, invited free

Give your accountant or bookkeeper access to your records and returns at any time. No seat charge, no separate licence, and no exporting spreadsheets back and forth to keep them in the loop.

No per-seat fee

No surcharge for being complicated

Two businesses, six properties, thousands of transactions — the price does not move. The people MTD affects hardest usually have income from more than one place, and charging them more for it makes no sense.

MTD-compliant digital record-keeping, unlimited transactions, unlimited properties or businesses, a running tax estimate and every deadline tracked. No card, no time limit. You pay at the point you choose to file through us.

The cheapest tools are the narrowest — most are bridging software that submit figures you have already worked out yourself, with nothing in between. Swiftmore covers the whole year: the records, the four quarterly updates and the final declaration, at one price. Compare the total for a full tax year rather than the headline.

No. Complete covers the four quarterly updates and the final declaration for the same tax year. Several providers price the year end as an extra, or reserve it for a higher tier. We do not.

Nothing, if you drop to the free tier — the account stays live and your records stay reachable at no cost, so leaving a subscription never puts you out of compliance. If you close the account entirely, you get 30 days to download a full export: transactions as CSV, every filed return and its HMRC receipt as PDF. After that we delete it. HMRC's five-year rule is your obligation, not ours to hold on your behalf, and keeping ex-customers' financial data longer than needed is not something we want to do.

Yes, on any plan including the free one. Invite them and they can see your records and returns — no seat charge, no separate licence, nothing to export. If they would rather file for you, they can.

Same price. We do not charge per property, per business or per transaction, and there is no surcharge for property income. The people MTD affects most often have income from more than one place, and pricing that penalises them makes no sense.

Yes. Every price shown includes VAT, and software costs are usually an allowable expense against your business or property income.

These are the prices we intend to launch with. If they change, anyone already signed up keeps the price they joined on for as long as they stay.

At any time, not just on the way out. A full export gives you transactions and categories as CSV, each filed return and its HMRC receipt as PDF, and a manifest of what the archive contains. If you want us to delete everything instead, ask and we will.
